Wicked6 & Diversity

Last week, Mari Galloway, the Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu (WSC) CEO, was interviewed by Alexandra Moxin of the Advance Tech Podcast. You can listen to it now to understand what is driving us—all of us on the Wicked6 team—to put on this amazing event.

Everyone Loves a Grand Finale

Whether it’s the conclusion of a fireworks show on the 4th of July, the culmination of March Madness, or the last episode of the season of The Voice, everyone loves a Grand Finale. Designed as the first true “cyber goes eSports” event, Wicked6 will kick off in late May 2019 with hungry, collegiate cyber teams competing for a chance to show off their skills in a LIVE, grand finale event in August in Las Vegas.

The Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu Announces the Wicked6 Cyber Games

Press Release: Today, the Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu announces the Wicked6 Cyber Games, a cybersecurity exhibition and fundraiser to be held at HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas at the Luxor Hotel and Casino on August 8, 2019 followed by the 6th Annual Cyberjutsu Women’s Awards Reception.

Why Wicked6?

Cyber competitions are exciting. Really. Whatever their format – from standard Capture the Flag, to Jeopardy-style questions and answers, to real-world simulations where teams attack or defend a facility’s network and information – amateur and professional players thrill at the challenge and celebrate their achievements just like in any other competition. But to the casual observer, a cyber competition in progress typically looks like a bunch of people sitting at computers, hard at work. I might not go as far as to say snoozefest, but … yeah, I would.
